Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the DreamChat website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register for membership. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

Credit card information (only when a "purchase" is made)

DreamChat uses Authorize.Net for our secure payment processing. This system communicates directly to the processing gateway. The credit card numbers do not pass through our web server. Credit card numbers are not recorded or retained by DreamChat.

How We Use Information:

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order.

The e-mail address that you supply will be used to validate your product request. From time to time, we may contact you about necessary product information or updates related to your product order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

To better insure your e-mail privacy while using DreamChat, each member is supplied with a complimentary private e-mail account (to use while accessing the DreamChat system). This value-added service, provided by Everyone.net, gives every member an anonymous "internal" e-mail address (i.e. member@dreamchat.com). It is at your sole discression if you would like to be contacted by either Everyone.net Inc or DreamChat.com for special offers available exclusively to our members. You may elect NOT to receive these offers at the time of signup. If you elect to receive these offers, they will ONLY be sent to your "dreamchat.com" e-mail address and never at your main one (that you supplied at the time of product signup).

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To Data Security:

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

DreamChat uses an advanced security system which prevents unauthorized access to chat rooms, user accounts, and information. In addition to our "integrated" security, a security "bot" runs in the background 24 hours a day doing integrity and system checks. Our systems are all Firewall protected with anti-masquerading and DOS attack protection.

All access to DreamChat is logged. In the event of repetative "hacking" or "flooding" attacks, or any fradulant actions, DreamChat will turn these security logs (as well as any other available information) over to the authorities for prosecution. Likewise, if a user reports harassment, we can pull the logs and track down the offending party.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13 years old. We highly encourage parents to be involved with all of their child's online activities.

DreamChat follows the FTC guidelines for compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and Rule. Parental permission is required in order to access and use the DreamChat chat system and/or community system.

All DreamChat Members are able to choose an anonymous DreamChat handle and are supplied with an anonymous DreamChat e-mail account. DreamChat also provides a "hide all" option in each Member's Profile setup, that will automatically hide all personal information other than the age and hometown of the member.

The staff at DreamChat are available to assist any child with setting up their user profile to best insure their maximum privacy. Any questions relating to children's protection and privacy, should be directed to webmaster@dreamchat.com.

Links To Third Party Websites:

You may be able to access third party websites directly from the DreamChat website. This Privacy Policy does not apply when you access third party websites. We cannot control how third parties may use Personal Information you disclose to them, so you should carefully review the privacy policy of any third party website you visit before using it or disclosing your Personal Information to its provider.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on DreamChat. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to DreamChat's users based on their visit to the DreamChat site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information:

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by logging into our membership and/or room administration system (using your user information assigned at the time of signup). This applies to both Community Memberships and Room Owners. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
